My girl
friends have been trying to get me to exercise MORE!
The craze
started last year when one of them joined a gym downtown.
So why should we exercise??? Is it a "MUST" ??? I don't do much, just a little yoga, that's all. That's enough right ?
Anyway her gym instructor mentioned something interesting that we don't hear much of - autophagy.
Meaning when
we exercise junk gets cleared from our cells. The thing about muscles, it’s
really: “use it or lose it.”
The
astronauts were found to lose muscle at an alarming rate until NASA figured out
how they could exercise in space.
Exercise improves circulation thus reduces all disease, improve your
appearance and delay signs of aging. It
improves your strength and stamina, which gives you a better quality of life. Basically,
you will look better and feel better.
Well, we
all need motivation, not everyone has friends like mine:) You can write them down & place it where you
sees it daily- on the fridge door maybe. Things like :You want a hotter body,
you want both guys & girls staring at you, you want to be able to buy
clothes off the rack. Or you just want to be able to move around even after you
hit 70 …lol…
Well Just
Do it OK?? But do start slow and work up gradually. Consistency is key, and getting support makes
a difference. For me, I'll stick to my yoga...haha....
